My Mentor

I'm working with Yanxi Liu, a research professor at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Her work centers around the applications of computational symmetry in computer vision, graphics, and robotics. In particular, her current projects include detection and applications of brain asymmetry, facial recognition through asymmetry, gait analysis using wallpaper groups, and pattern perception in images using Frieze and wallpaper groups, among others. Her research webpage gives a more detailed description of this and other work. This is her personal homepage.
