About Justine Cassell

Justine Cassell is a professor in the Communications Studies department with a joint apointment in Computer Science at Northwestern University. Her research includes Embodied Conversational Agents to learn more about Human-Computer interactions as well as Human-Human interactions.

Justine holds a PhD. in Linguistics and a PhD. in Psychology from the University of Chicago. Her professorship was tenured at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
