Mentors

Technically, my main mentor is Dr. Anne Condon. However, I feel that not mentioning my other two mentors with whom I worked during the summer 2004 would be rude, unjust and simply considered as cruelty from my side =P. So, here they are: Dr. Holger Hoos and Ph.D. student Mirela S. Andronescu. There were other people down at the Beta lab that became my friends during this summer.

I would like to thank everybody with whom I have been working and communicating during the summer of 2004. It has really been a great, overwhelming and absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you for opening up the new world of bioinformatics, and possibilities, in general, to me. Thank you for supporting me and being understanding, as well as for the great atmosphere where an undergrad is not considered a brainless bug generator =P. It's been a pleasure. I look forward to working in Beta in the Fall 2004.
