My family, friends and I participated in a Relay for Life in Abbington, MA. The relays are held all over the place, we did one in Haverhill, MA last year. If you've never heard of one check out the American Cancer Society webpage for more information. Basically it's an all day and night walkathon to raise money for cancer reasearch. Each participating team is assigned a camp site along the edge of the track. Teams usually bring a few tents and lots of decorations. At least one member from each team has to be walking on the track at all times. If you ever feel like walking for a good cause get together a group of friends and family and sign up. There's lots of activities all day. It's a lot of fun but be ready to be tired at the end of the day.
