Weekly Journal: Week 3 (June 4 to June 10)

Well this past weekend and this Monday and Tuesday I have been at the 17th annual ACM Computational Geometry conference with the professor I worked for last summer,
Ileana Streinu .
It was a lot of fun, I only wish that I understood more of what was being presented in the talks.
Wednesday morning I returned to working on reinforcement learning and pricebots (which was much more fun of course), and I am now working on debugging the other algorithms in the program, going through each one. I am currently only on the myopic optimal algorithm; I have sorted figured out why it isn't working, but now I have to figure out how to fix it.
Well Amy and I have mostly fixed the myoptimal algorithm and the price output seems right but the profit output doesn't make sense. Also I spent most of today (friday) debugging another algorithm (the derivative following algorithm) but it doesn't appear to give the correct output yet. It looks like my Monday is all planned out!
