My name is Ester Gubbrud. I am a rising senior at Carleton College, double majoring in Math and Computer Science with a concentration in Women and Gender Studies. I began the summer working on the Scheduling Project with Adele Howe. I ended the summer working on the Cameron Project with Wim Bohm.

I learned of the CRAW Distributed Mentor Program while attending the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. I have also done research in Data Mining with Support Vector Machines under the direction of Dave Musicant. During the next academic year, I will be doing research in Textual Data Mining through a CREW Grant.
