I am a rising junior at Tufts University majoring in Chemical and Biological Engineering and maybe Philosophy. I hope to pursue a graduate degree in computer science and conduct computational chemistry/biology research in the future in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields. I am particularly interested with in silico drug design and discovery. Additionally, I love all aspects of philosophy, my favorite philosopher is David Hume, and I have taken a recent interest in bioethics.
On a non-academic note, I love to play guitar, go to concerts, take pictures, eat food and try new restaurants, go running and sometimes biking, travel (I am going to study in Scotland in a couple months!), and a host of other things.
My mentor is Chad L. Myers from the University of Minnesota Computer Science and Engineering department. He is the principal investigator of the Computational Biology and Functional Genomics Lab at UMN. For more information about Professor Myers and the lab group.
