Week4:

For this week, I will continue working on my website (by trying to learn how to do fonts/colors, and will on the next project which will be to use what i've learned by making my website and use it to make a website for our go refactoring. I've learned how to convert html into pdf while preserving the links, so that you can click on the link in the pdf and go back to the previous page or go back to the main page. In order to achieve this, you must put the whole link to the page you want to go to, rather than just the name of the file (in html you just use the file name and it opens it).

This week we started moving boxes out of our soon to be new lab, and afterward prof Overbey and I took some time checking the old computers in there to see if they worked, and then to see if they could be used for our lab. I also formatted a few of the computers and put linux on them so we could use them for the lab.

During this week I have been registered with an online coding review site the students/teacher with the project use to review each other's code and to get a representative from google to review our coding as well. Submitted my first assignment for the project to the site to be reviewed by the teacher and later by the google rep. While waiting on a reply and changes, I am learning more about html and css so as to get better at making a website to work on another part of the project where i'll build a website for us. Will also get details later this week on my next assignment for the go refactoring project.

During the last couple days of this week, I created the basic part of the website for our project, although a good bit of it was taken from the the parent (the teacher said to base it off of the golang.org site, hence based of the parent). Also uploaded it to a server that is dedicated to websites for all of the teacher's projects.
