About me

Hi, my name is Sebastian Kagemann, and I'm a rising junior at Indiana University Bloomington. I study Computer Science and am expected to graduate in 2016. I started coding my freshman year at IU (in Scheme of all languages) and immediately fell in love with it. My academic interests at the moment include mobile development, distributed computing and cognitive science. In addition to my coursework, I work at an autism research lab and teach 3rd through 6th grade students to develop video games in MIT Scratch.

When I'm not coding, I'm hopefully enjoying a nice cup of coffee, reading a good book, listening to beautiful music, attempting to play guitar, or galavanting around Bloomington with my friends and family. Since I stopped distance running in high school, I've been bouncing around between different activities including but not limited to fencing, salsa dancing, Jeet Kune Do, and pigeon racing (well, I read a book on it). I'm currently trying to master 8-ball pool.
