Dr. Jessica Hodgins is a professor at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute and Department of Computer Science. She is also part-time director of Disney Research in Pittsburgh, PA. In 1989, she received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. She returned to CMU in 2000, after spending eight years at Georgia Tech building the Animation Lab there. Her research focuses on computer graphics, animation, humanoid robotics, and human robot interaction. Her robotics research emphasizes generating and analyzing human motion.
