Week 2 This week I modified my original program to generate HTML pages. Each page contains a unique set of audio clips, and includes a form for the Mechanical Turk worker to submit. I ran into a couple of issues while creating the web pages. Different browsers handle audio files in their own way, and some require additional plugins to play the sound. After experimenting with various options, I got the audio control to display and play correctly on most browsers. I also wrote a script to generate a specific input file that is required to publish a HIT. We are getting closer to uploading all of the components to Mechanical Turk. Hopefully we will have some nice, clean data to work with pretty soon. [PREVIOUS] [NEXT] |
