                Victoria Interrante

Victoria is my mentor for the summer. She is a graphics professor in the computer science department
at the University of Minnesota, who took me on with one other undergraduate student to assist her and
her PhD students in their research and to conduct our own.

Samantha Merritt

Samantha is the other undergraduate student who works for Victoria. She is a Digital Media and Design
major at the University of Pennsylvania, class of 2014. The two of us share a lab for our research.

                Loren Fiore

Loren was the PhD student Samantha and I worked with most. He's definitely the smartest person I've
ever met, and he's who we turn to with most of our problems. His background is in robotics and he built
the Arduino for our wheelchair. His current research is on integrating personal avatars into virtual
realities.

Lane Phillips

Another PhD student, Lane was a really helpful resource for our experiments. He worked us through quaternions and a lot of
code confusion with the project we inherited from him. He left halfway through our ten weeks to start
his family, but before he left he was working on making the floor to ceiling curved projector screen
that takes up an entire wall of our lab function.

                Peng Liu

Peng helped us mostly with the Vicon system and Ogre. He generously offered to not only teach us how to
use both systems, but also to write some code we needed himself. His background is in graphics and he was
a valuable resource for our rendering problems. His PhD research this summer was with a virtual grocery store
test for alzheimer's. He also happens to be from Chengdu, which is where I plan on doing my semester abroad.
