I picked DREU because I wanted to get research experience before I apply to grad school and begin (hopefully!) the PhD program here at A&M under Dr. Murphy.
I wanted to work with Dr. Murphy (and Brittany) because last fall I was part of the Texas Aggie Players production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, where I was one of the pilots for the fairy-bots, remote-controlled helicopters that interacted with the actors. We were in Wired magazine! After that and taking Dr. Murphy's AI class, I decided that I wanted to see if this is what I really wanted to do.
So here I am!
