JOURNAL: WEEK 4               July 5 - 11, 2009

RESEARCH:

If there is one thing that I have learned about research, it is that it is important to remain flexible. We found a major bug in one of the programs that I was going to be using for my new project, so it is getting changed once again. However, this time it is getting changed only slightly. I will be implementing an interactive heat map. The research plan is complete but awaiting approval so I am not going to post it yet this week. I have started implementing the program, had it posting a basic heat map, and then managed to mess up my code. So I am now tracking down the bug I unknowingly added when trying to add additional features. It's fun!

LIFE:

I spent the past week ill. Nothing to horrible, but enough that I did not feel like going out. So I spent much of the week curled up in bed with a book. I have gotten involved with a bible study, which has interduced me to a new group of people. Nevertheless, no great or exciting news this week in my life.
