Apparently Tuesday's my day.
The survey went out Monday, and we've already gotten a few responses. This is super exciting; I feel like we're actually getting information about what people want from UP. Comments almost work now, as well. The problem I was having was a result of a newline where a newline should not have been. Now I know. The page won't refresh both comments and tags at the same time, though, and I think tags are sort of priority, so until that issue gets straightened out, comments stay strictly on my server. Also somehow, the addition of comments on the server makes NoteTaker unhappy. I don't know why. This is Irritating, because I also want to try a new solution to that stupid GUI problem. I will finish it this summer if it's the last thing I do.
There really hasn't been much going on. Slow week, quiet weekend. Beth left for BC, so we have her cat for a week. He took a little while to settle in, but now that he has, he meowls constantly unless he's actively being petted. Despite that, he's a really sweet cat, and it's nice to have a small animal around. He's been sleeping with me at night, since Liz has a loft bed and is thus unaccessible to kitties, and I have an air mattress. Also Mona left yesterday morning, so I've moved my stuff into the room that was hers. Pro: my own room. Con: having to share a bathroom with the cat. I think I can deal.
