How did I hear about the DMP? Thanks to my mentor, Jessica Hodgins from Carnegie Mellon University! She is a professor in the Computer Science Department and Robotics Institute, and also the DMP Co-coordinator.

Since the beginning of 2006, I have started working in the CMU Motion Capture Lab with Jessica, and started to learn more about motion capturing, cleaning motion capture data and using softwares such as Maya, which has given me the basic knowledge of working on this research. Without her, I would not even know how motion capture works, not to mention about taking part in this research project! Jessica, thank you!

Also thanks to the Ph.D. candidate, Jin-Xiang Chai from Carnegie Mellon University, who is also taking part in the project and helps me a lot in understanding how to tackle the problems.
