The DMP Program
During this past summer, I did research under the CRA - Women Distributed Mentor Project Award for Summer Research. My mentor was Professor Yuanyuan Zhou from the department of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Opera research group.
I was involved in two research projects: detecting atomicity violations in multithreaded programs and systems management. However, I dedicated most of my time to the first project since it is a nice combination of theoretical computer science and systems. I have been primarily working with graduate student Shan Lu and Professor Yuanyuan Zhou.
My internship at UIUC ended, but I will continue working on the project during the school semester.
