Diane Souvaine

I'm working this summer with Diane Souvaine, the head of the Tufts Computer Science department and the Tufts Computational Geometry research group. I've taken two classes with her--Algorithms and Computational Geometry--and absolutely loved both. This summer I chose to stay at Tufts so that we could research Data Depth, a method of multivariate, nonparametric data analysis.

Eynat Rafalin

Eynat, who just received her PhD this spring, is my close advisor. She introduced me to the concept of data depth originally last winter and has been participating with me in the Tufts Computational Geometry research group since then. She recently had her second child, a beautiful little girl, and brings her to our regular meetings. She is currently balancing her education, career, and family, which I hope to be doing myself in several years.
