Research Information: Artificial Intelligence (AI). Prof. desJardins's research interests are in planning, learning, and multiagent systems. Her research group is called MAPLE. MAPLE is The Multi-Agent Planning and LEarning Lab at UMBC is devoted to exploring artificial intelligence and developing A.I. solutions to real-world problems. Their interests and current projects span both the theoretical and practical aspects of artificial intelligence.
