Welcome to my site! My name is Daisy Lee, and I will be a 4th year undergraduate in the College of Engineering at University of California, Berkeley. My major is Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), Option V (General). I plan to graduate May 2006.

From May 23 to July 29, 2005, I will be a participant of the Distributed Mentor Program (DMP). My mentor is Professor Diana Marculescu from the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department at Carnegie Mellon University. Her research areas are in energy aware computing, ambient intelligent systems, and CAD for low power VLSI system design. My research will be on variability and energy awareness at the microarchitecture-level perspective. Specifically, I will be writing modules that output metrics for clock speed, temperature, and leakage variability, then running simulations to compare performance statistics between GALS and synchronous processors.

For more details on my lovely DMP experience, read my journal (1) (2).

And just for fun, here's my profile.
