My Summer Research Project

Welcome to my website about the experience that I had in the Summer of 2004!

I had found out about the Distributed Mentor Project (DMP) two years ago from one of my professors, and to my excitement, I was accepted into the program this year! The DMP is a program that is sponsered by the Computer Reasearch Association- Women. Their goal is to match undergraduate females in Computer Science and Computer Engineering with mentors at research institutions, and to have the students spend ten weeks of thier summer with their mentor to participate in current research. Additionaly, the student is able to learn about the research process, and with this experience, hopefully go onto a graduate school to pursue a higher degree in CS or CE.
