Over the summer I worked with Prof. Linda Shapiro. , at the University of Washington, Seattle (summer in Seattle is beautiful...).

Professor Shapiro's research is in computer vision with related interests in artificial intelligence (search, reasoning, task planning), database (intelligent spatial information systems), languages, and applications to robotics and medicine.

Her current work includes the following projects

Content-Based Image Retrieval

3D Object Recognition

3D Object Reconstruction for Augmented Reality

Medical Informatics

This was my first experiece working in a project and Prof. shapiro was extremely helpful and encouraging, and I must add very patient also.
