My name is Sarah Doster, and I'm from Lawrenceville, Ga. I am a Senior at The University of Georgia in Athens, and I will graduate in December 2002 with a major in Computer Science and a minor in English (at least that's the plan).

I was chosen to participate in the Computing Research Association's (CRA) Distributed Mentor Program this summer. This program pairs undergraduate female computer science majors with female professors at other universities to get involved with research for the summer. My mentor is Dr. Laurie Williams, a professor of Software Engineering at NC State University.

This website is going to track my progress and hopefully get other people interested in the program. It'll contain information about my project and what I'm up to in general. I'm going to be keeping a journal outlining what I've been doing, so check back in often! And feel free to offer constructive criticism or suggestions about my web site.
