What is it?

The Distributed Mentor Project is a program that pairs female undergrauates in Computer Science and Computer Engineering with female professors for a ten week research project. Subjects are based on interests indicated in the application and subjects that the professor researches.

How did I get involved?

I got involved because the Computer Science (CS) department sent all the junior level females a copy of an article about the program. Since one of my friends who graduated in 2000 did the program and enjoyed it, I figured I'd give it a shot!
