Week 8: July 23 - July 29

This week I continued to sort the data set into different categories. I made two more spreadsheets sorting the goals by subject and then by "good" goals and "bad" goals. The good/bad goals will become two different spreadsheets. I am going to make one for two types of consumers - the consumer who understands that certain things are needed to perform the service requested and the consumer who wants complete privacy. I went over the survey and tried to narrow it down to 3 or 4 questions in a section. I read more of Dr. Antón's thesis and picked out examples for my heuristics. Now I just need to write them out. On Thursday I met with Dr. Earp and we came up with more stuff for me to do.

In the evenings, it was the usual. Monday was volleyball and then saw Jurassic Park 3. Some exciting news: the small hermit crab in the big crab cage changed shells. This was very interesting. I tried to watch, but it is very hard to see cause they don't come out of the shell completely. They just put both openings together then jump into the new shell. Tuesday we went out to dinner to Newton's. The food was really good and they give you A LOT. We watched the American President after dinner. Wednesday was bowling. I didn't do that well this time, but still managed to hold my own. Thursday I played some volleyball and then packed.

Dr. Antón was nice enough to let me have off Friday (and Monday) for a mini vacation. Destination - Dayton, Ohio. It took about 8.5 hours to get there, but it was a nice drive. The weekend was a blast. I got to hang out with lots of friends whom I haven't seen in a long time. I went to a bar, out to dinner, watched movies, golfed, played volleyball and went to a toga party!
