For Mike and Jessamy's birthday we decided to take a trip to the Minneapolis zoo. I had already been one other time with Nick and Gina and knew it would be fun. Mike's parents were in town so they came along too. Joel and Dan, the guys who go to school with me, also came along. We all had a great time. The taper was a big hit. Someone I know has a friend who collects pictures of tapers for his random taper generator. And April calls a taper a big meat Popsicle. After all, it has such amazing natural camouflage. We spent lots of time looking at all the different animals. This is scary because our faces are glowing! I got to see dolphins again! This time we watched a show. We also saw the meerkats. They are pretty cool little guys. Jessamy and Mr. Weasel are posing with them in this picture. Here Jessamy is caring Mr. Weasel back from that last picture. I think this pretty much sums up the insanity that reigned this summer. Apparently Mr. Weasel found the flowers at the zoo interesting as well. This might have been taken in the butterfly garden which was neat. It was a really long hot day. After all that walking around we sat down for a little rest.
