Week One: June 4 - 8

After all the running around to get an ID, email, keys, and such, I finally sat down and met the lab group. We had lunch at one of the many pizza places in Newark. Amie gave a presentation on testing and I rapidly learned about my lack of "coverage" for my CS labs at MSU - and to think my lab TAs didn't count off...

I am starting off the week researching testing techniques and learning a little perl. I am also putting up this page, which required reviewing some HTML skills.

To better understand the concept of coverage analysis and testing, I've read several papers. I was suprised to find out Mary Jean Harrold (the CRA-DMP coordinator) was an author of one of the papers I read...I had no idea she was involved in testing!
