Week Five

This week was mostly a work week.İ At the end of last week, we had just discovered that a paper on a topic very similar to our project had been written.İ We emailed the authors of the paper to ask for their help and cooperation in our task.İ They emailed us back this week and said that they would love to colaborate with us.İ Barry Cohen had developed 12000 lines of C++ code which we thought we could modify to solve our problem.İ Upon recieving the code, it did not compile with the compiler version that the University of British Columbia had installed.İ Laura and I spent most of this week sorting through the code to determine what it should be doing, what it was doing, and how to make it do what we wanted it to do.
